We're currently on vacation. We were originally supposed to be in Whistler, but plans changed and we headed out Wednesday for a week camping in the mountains! We found a beautiful campste just outside Banff and were really excited for a wonderful week..... we got home last night. YUP, you did the math right! We stayed only 2 short nights! It was rainy, and FREEZING COLD!! The sites we were at were really large, and pretty isolated! Infact, we were the only ones in our loop. It was too rainy and cold to do anything and got a little boring. Plus, I was starting to get a cold so we came home! It was a joint decision and a good one actually. We are using the rest of the week to relax and do stuff around the house, or whatever! It's been nice so far.
We have also decided that we are for sure getting a truck this year, and are seriously considering purchasing one of these:
We spent the afternoon at different RV Sales Centres and really liked this model:
It's not huge, but it's perfect for the two of us, with plenty of room for entertaining at the HUGE dinette, that could even be another double bed if we had a couple joining us!!
Plus, this was the first ATTRACTIVE interior we saw:
In the same colors as our home, this would be a perfect home away from home!
Plus, it's not too fancy that it's not still CAMPING!
