Throw in the Towel!

Thinking about forgoing a towel bar or ring of any kind and having a basket of individual towels in my powder room...
Any one doing this? Suggestions on if it works or not?
We are doing it at work in the public washrooms and I love the look!

My family uses a towel bar for the towels and hand towels currently in use but we use a basket to store all the towels NOT currently in use and since there are 6 kids sharing 1 bathroom, that system works best for us.

I went to a dinner party at a guys house and he actually had a basket full of warm damp towels. It was very nice and refreshing!
